Elegant, Exciting, Excellent
These are the three words that best describes the effort of the San Diego Master Gardeners in cooperation with The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. The project is basically a garden demonstration of the various ways of healthy gardening to educate the community on living healthy.
If you come to visit San Diego between March 11 up to May 11, 2014, don’t forget to come by the Flower Fields. You will get a view of the majestic vignettes of the different types of gardens. They’ve got the square garden, to begin with, the pizza garden (as it is popularly called), a straw bale garden and an elevated garden to name a few. Each type aims to inspire visitors to start their own garden at home, whichever type suits their taste and their space.
This year, they are featuring the drought-tolerant garden design. With such, there’s no excuse not to eat healthy at the comforts of your own home. Master Gardeners of San Diego will also be there to answer any queries you might have.
