Bryani

Bryani (or Biryani) is a well-loved Middle Eastern and Indian food that has been making a lot of people excited. It is a complete meal that includes healthy servings of rice, spices, and chicken. Some varieties of Biryani may also include other meats like fish, shrimp, mutton and eggs. Biryani comes from the Persian word Beryan, which means roasted or fried.

The rice is specially cooked and flavored with turmeric or saffron, giving off a distinct taste. Plenty of other spices are also incorporated into the dish including chili, ginger, garlic, and cardamom. For a real Middle Eastern experience right at the heart of San Diego, visit Aladdin Café
